This is a bike event but don't bother wearing colors, logos, or patches on your vest. Is that like not having a holster at a gun range?

Easyriders Attorneys have been able to provide us with the approval to ALLOW COLORS for all clubs except ONE. The Club that is not allowed knows who they are and will not be admitted into any Easyriders Events.........ever. We promised you we were working day and night to resolve the issue but it can't be resolved by any other means than a complete ban on one particular MC.

We apologize for the inconvenience to those who have supported us for so many years.

12:56pm Expand Show Images Kevin Bean're Please read Rogue's response to the Easyrider boycott. I know first hand what is going on. It involves an immanent thread that was planned but fortunately did not take place by the Iron Order M/C. Other clubs are being effected by this and most of them know what is going on. They are handling this. Because the Iron Order showed up but were not allowed to get inside and wreck havoc ( that is putting it mildly), they have promised to be in Columbus full force. Now it seems that they are hoping to get anyone and everyone on their side and increase their numbers. https://www.facebook.com/john.rogue.1042/posts/10200492057247596?re... John Rogue Easyriders Bike Show In An Effort To Protect Attendees Instituted A NO COLORS Rule For The First Time In History I can understand an organizations objection to not allowing colors at an event but it appears that ABATE of Ohio does Not have all of the information about what is going on here. A motorcycle group that cal...ls themselves Iron Order MC had an issue with another club in the area and the promoters of the Easyriders Bike Show were notified that there would be violence between the two groups at the show. In the interest of public safety it was decided to restrict people from wearing colors at the show until a guarantee for those attending safety could be guaranteed. My question is what would you do? And my statement is if you want to Blame Someone, Blame the Ones Involved and Not The promoters of the event. I sincerely hope that all will continue to support the shows while issues like this are worked out. ROGUE

ABATE of Ohio Inc. will not be setting up an information booth at the Easyriders Bike Show in Columbus Ohio on February 8-10, 2013. This is in response to a dress code policy not allowing clubs to wear their colors at this event. We find this to be discriminatory towards bikers and as such we cannot be part of it. We feel that Easyriders banning all club colors because of an incident involving a select group of people is unfairly punishing the innocent.
The dress code states, “No Colors pertains to any logos or marks that are only available to a person if they are a member of a club, association or organization.” This unreasonably effects the veteran clubs, Christian clubs, service clubs, HOG groups, rights organizations (such as ABATE of Ohio Inc.) as well as many others. We have had a long relationship with Easyriders and will reconsider this stand if Easyriders changes their dress code.
ABATE of Ohio Inc. supports a member’s right to choose to attend or not.
