Rolling Thunder #32 May 26th, 2019 Washington, D.C. THIS WILL BE THE LAST RT HELD IN DC per the event organizers.
Actual ride is Sunday 26th. SOLR arrivals 24 Friday, 25 Saturday 9:00 AM Meeting at Hotel Parking lot with Self-Guided tours and rides after and Official Dinner, 26 Sun. RT event, 27 Mon. Departure.

SATURDAY DAYTIME: We will do a 7:00 AM "Early Risers" breakfast at the diner up the street from the hotel. There will be a GROUP MEETING at 9:00 AM at the hotel parking lot. We will cover Q&A, Event changes, Safety, etc....and then everyone will be on their own until Dinner in the PM. If you or your state are planning a "Group ride" please be prepared with maps, plans, etc....should others wish to join in, but DO NOT DEPEND ON ANYONE TO LEAD YOU BACK TO THE HOTEL: This happens every year where someone gets separated from their group and doesn't have a map or directions back to the hotel, be prepared please!!!! We will leave from the hotel to DINNER from the HOTEL PARKING LOT KSU at 6:00 PM

Sunday Rolling Thunder Ride Details:

SUNDAY RIDE from the HOTEL, KSU from HOTEL at 5 AM to Dunkin Donuts, to Pentagon (Please have a FULL TANK OF GAS AND AN EMPTY BLADDER!)......we should arrive at Dunkin Donuts about 6:15 AM for anyone that wants to meet us there. So you have 2 opportunities for you or any invited guests to meet up with us: HOTEL at 5 AM or Dunkin Donuts at 6:30 AM. Looking forward to the last DC RT 2019 event.  Although we are not staying in Herndon, we will be joining you for SoLR Saturday events.

If you are NEW to SOLR:

  1. Join your state page,scroll down. Click on the name of your state and "JOIN".
  2. Contact the State President or leader.  NOT ALL STATES HAVE ONE.  If you are in a state that doesn't have leadership, get involved and try and reach out to the other members on the page.  Find another person who can help you get something going....then get involved.
  3. Read the by-laws, participate in the chat, reply to articles, and learn the ropes of how the site works.
  4. If you have a question post it in the chat room.  Someone should be able to answer it for you there.  If not contact your state leader or post it as a Discussion.
  5. Have fun and get involved politically!  While we are mostly "riders" many are not and our mission is POLITICAL 1st.....
