November 2009 Volume 2 - Issue 11
Dear Russ,

We will be having our annual Christmas Party on 12/5/09 and Chief and I hope we see you there. See details are on the right side column.

We would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You for your membership in IN PG and your participation, whether it be your physical presence or your thoughts and prayers of and for our troops this past year. It is people like you that make this organization what it is and an organization that has stayed above the messy politics and always in front when it comes to showing honor and respect to our troops.

May you ALL have a great holiday season and God Bless each of you.

November 11 is Veterans day
Regardless of where you live or how you choose to do so let's celebrate and be thankful to those in the miltary as we owe them a debt of gratitude for our freedoms and way of life. If you can only take a brief moment of silence out of your busy day on November 11th and say "Thank You" then you have done proper respect to those that have paid the 'ultimate sacrifice'.
Applebee's Free Food on Veterans Day
In recognition of your service to our country, all veterans and active duty military personnel are invited to eat free at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar Restaurants this Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov.11, 2009. Please help us share details across your various communication channels. All U.S. veterans and active duty military with proof of current or former military service will eat free at all Applebee's nationwide on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009.

Patriotic Sons

I Ride with tears in my eyes,

Proud to escort these warriors

Who, for me, met their demise.

No one will bother these heroes;

I'm the shield at their side.

Respect these fallen heroes.

They are your sons and daughters,

And they gave you their dreams

of life, liberty, and happiness.

They did not hide.

To me, they are my family,

And these colors do not run.

I will ride with liberty

And freedom till the job is done.

Patriot is the name.

I feel my family's tears,

and can't hold back on mine.

These are my brothers and sisters

since the beginning of time.

We all ride the same.

All Military Members and families, If you were or know of any service member that was "stop loss"
The Defense Department recently announced the services' implementation plans to provide retroactive stop loss special pay. I rode a mission Sunday. A young mother and father were stationed in Afghanistan. We escorted her from the plane to the funeral home. The husband had just gotten back and was with his two little girls. It was an honor to fly the flag she fought for and escort her home.
Im a member, unfortunately I don't have my own Bike, so I can only ride with someone else. But being a former military wife, and my Dad was stationed in Panama in the Marines, Im a Patriot!! and They Have all my support, I shed a tear for every veteran that passes. They Have The My Utmost RESPECT RIP
Done. I had been meaning to do this, but kept putting it off. Thanks for the prompt, Jules.
For New Members A reminder to Join The PGR

I joined a couple of weeks back and will ride if needed in my area. We all should support this effort to protect thoughts that protect us.
