Papa Joe and Alabama SoLR
Just a quick not to thank y'all for the hospitality, friendship, and brotherhood shown us at the 8th Annual Wounded Veterans Ride on September 7. Last year, two of us attended (James and I). This year we were 12. Who knows how many will be with us next year?
I will keep y'all posted about events in our area and would be happy if some of you will join us. Next Saturday (September 28) is our 7th Annual Benghazi-Twin Towers Memorial Ride and Veterans Appreciation Day. I know some of you have conflicts, but it would be great if some of you could participate this year.
God Bless every one of you.
Dr. Dan
Two coming from SC, McDoc and me. We'll be riding in with NC-SOLR, but camping instead of motelling.

Hey, Alabama-SoLR
We are looking forward to being with for the Wounded Veterans Ride on September 7.
As of this moment, there will be seven of us riders from my area riding to Cullman on Friday September 6, staying at the Comfort Inn as we did last year. My wife, Rhonda, and Bob Haas' wife, JoAnn, will be driving up behind us. Neither of them will be riding on Saturday, so they are volunteering to help out at the event itself. Can you find some jobs for them to do?
We would all like to go out to dinner with y'all Friday night. We will be arriving mid afternoon.
Dr. Dan
Thanks Dan
Papa Joe
We will be there again. We plan to come up Friday, hope to have dinner with y'all Friday night, do the ride and festivities Saturday, and go back home Sunday.
I expect to have more riders with James and me this year. I will post it on all our ride websites and the Team App cellphone app.
Dr. Dan
Dr Dan our Ride will be Sept 7th this year
Papa Joe and the rest of our AL-SoLR Brothers and Sisters.
NC-SoLR will not be having the Flag Day ride this year. We will be attending Rolling Thunder in DC several weeks prior to the previously planned Flag Day ride and just ran out of time.
BUT
I do have a group of riders who want to come to your 8th Annual Wounded Veterans Ride in September. Please let us know the dates so we can make hotel reservations like we did last year. It was such a great ride and I have been boasting about it since then.
I do want you to plan to attend our 7th Annual Benghazi-Twin Towers Memorial Ride and Veterans Appreciation Event on September 28. That is our biggest event each year and very popular with our riders. I will send you specific info on that ride early in the summer.
Dr. Dan
President NC-SoLR
