Don't forget the upcoming meeting on Saturday August 6. I talked to Freddie today. We will have the meeting at 9am; this way everyone can still have most of Saturday to whatever they want.
We need as many people at this meeting and the August 27 (September) meeting as these will be the last meetings before the ride. We'll need to nail down any details in regards to door prizes, raffles, newspaper ads, etc.
I know some of y'all have prior engagements. We'll recap the meetings on here.
Let me know if you need more fliers. I'll have some printed and I'll bring to the meetings.
Thanks again for yalls dedication and hard work. This is going to be a great ride!!!

Okay guys and gals, time flies in 2 months from today will be our 5th ride.Becki Fortner has called 2 meetings next month, Aug. meeting will be the 6th and our Sept. meeting will be Aug 27th. It will be critical that everyone make these meetings it will be our last chance to make any plan for the ride. I know everyone is busy and have plans but please try to attend if at all possible if you have something planned that day give us a shout and we will try to change times so you can make it. Freedie has the tent, port a potties, tables and chairs covered. Eric and Bmac are working on 1/2 way point. We need door prizes, and advertisement , we need to be flooding the state with flyers. If you can not make it let me or Becki know and we will try to change times but the date need to stay pretty firm. Thanks for all you do.

For those of you that weren't able to attend the meeting and may have not heard yet, I have resigned as V.P. of the Alabama Sons Of Liberty. As most of you know, for the past year I have been working 7 days a week most weeks and have not had the time to dedicate to SOLR that this group deserves, and for that I apologize! This group deserves better than that! I feel that it is unfair of me to hold a position of leadership, when I cannot be there to fulfill those duties, and when there are others in this group that are more deserving of it!! It has never been that I didn't want to be there, nor that I did not consider SOLR a priority, because I did, and it is!!, however I have other obligations that have had to be placed before SOLR.
I am very honored to have been allowed to serve as your V.P. and even more honored to call each of you my Brothers and Sisters!!! I have met some amazing people through SOLR and of those people, yall are the most amazing!!! I have been blessed to experience things I probably would never would have been a part of, if not for yall and this group and for that I thank you!!!!!!
I want to congratulate Joe Alverson on being appointed V.P. and also Becki Fortner on being named Dist. 2 coordinator!!! I know both of you will do this group proud!!!! There is no doubt in my mind that this group will continue to grow and thrive under yall's direction!!!
Again, it has been a great honor to me to have served, and again I want to say THANK YOU!!!!!!!
I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, respect you, and love you!!!!

With love,
