PaPa Joe.  Post your Sept 8 as an event on the main page and I will repost it on the rest of the Southeast SoLR state pages (NC, SC, GA, and TN) and promote it, too.  Almost all of our members are veterans, and we have other veteran groups who are support all veteran-related events.

Really look forward to riding with y'all.

Dr. Dan

Dr. Dan Elchenburg  I will bring up your main events at the meeting hopefully we can support one of these if not both of these rides, Please keep our 7th annual wounded veterans ride on Sept. 8th in mind, we had 108 bikes last year, it is about a 1 1/2 to 2 hour ride around north Alabama.

SOLR now has its own Smartphone App. It's 100% FREE.

This App is not just for members of SOLR. We encourage members of ALR 23, ALR 121, and Joshua’s Warriors to sign up as well.  The purpose of this App is to keep you up-to-date with news, events, schedules and much more without having to post information on multiple sites. INSTRUCTIONS:

To get the full features of this App you need to download Team App onto your smartphone ( or thru the App Store). Launch Team App, then: 1. Sign-up to Team App. You'll be sent an email to confirm your registration. 2. Log in and search for SOLR to become a member

PaPa Joe

Thanks for getting back to me. Cullman is a nice 4 – 5 hour ride for me from Murphy, NC, and I will definitely plan to ride down to meet our Alabama SoLR brothers and sisters.  This weekend’s weather looks questionable, but I am praying that spring will arrive at some point (we had snow flurries this afternoon).

Your response allows me to discuss with you our current plans for SoLR in our area. For the past several years, NC, SC, TN, and GA SoLR have been riding together for fun and for special events.  Ours is a natural union based on geography and long time friendships.  At our March 17 meeting in Horseshoe, NC, we took action to formalize that arrangement by forming Southeast Region Sons of Liberty Riders, a regional union still under the SoLR banner.  Apparently, I have the biggest mouth because they tasked me with reaching out to neighboring SoLR groups like Alabama to join with us.

We would like to encourage Southeast Region SoLR groups to plan rides of any kind originating in your local areas during the good riding months. I will personally extend invitations to local American Legion Riders (ALR Post 23, ALR Post 121) and other groups to participate.  In addition, I will also coordinate invitations to Southeast Region SoLR groups to participate with ALR rides and will post event information on the Team App (see below) and the individual blog pages of SoLR state groups.  We can also use the “EVENT” tab on the national SoLR website.  With advance planning, we can also arrange for places to stay for those who come from longer distances.

My goal is to form bonds of fellowship and patriotism among SoLR, veteran, patriot, liberty-minded activists and all similar groups. It is completely possible for us to maintain our individual group identity but ride together for common causes.  We have common goals and must join forces to protect our nation and our own individual freedom.

Dr. Dan – President NC-SoLR

We have two major events this riding season and would love for y’all to participate.

Don't forget our cookout- first meeting this Saturday February24th at noon, AT Pavilion number for at Sportsman's Lake Park. See the event for the food that is already going to be provided. If you come please bring some type of snack.

Papa had posted this on one of my post in the event. I know some will be under the weather, or have something going on but please try to make this meeting we are tying to determine if we will have enough resources and support to have a wounded veterans 7 ride.

We already have a lot to discuss and start working out in preparation for the ride this fall hope to see as many of you there as possible. Like Joe said, I know some already have out-of-town plans and are sick, or getting sick. So after the meeting, I'll post a recap of the meeting so everyone will be up-to-date and on the same page.

See y'all Saturday!

Good afternoon everyone!

It's time to kick off 2018. Our first meeting will be Saturday February 24th at 12 p.m. we will have our meeting at Sportsman's Lake Park in Cullman. I have rented Pavilion 4 for the day. This is the very first Pavilion that you will come to... It is directly across from the kid train station.

We will just get together and hang out, have our meeting, and Cook Out. They do have a small charcoal grill at each Pavilion that we can use. If everyone would just comment below, or on the event that I will create, what you would like to bring food-wise.

Curt and I will provide the hot dogs, buns, condiments, plates, utensils, cups, and paper towels.

I look forward to seeing everyone again. I'm excited to discuss what is in store for 2018.
