Sorry for delay in getting on site with info, has been a busy afternoon.

Johnny and I spoke early this morning reference to District 2 meeting this saturday and this is what we came up with.  since this is Easter weekend and everyone has things to do and family things there will be no ride after meeting saturday.  Meeting will be at Elks Lodge at 8:30 am, there will be no breakfast this saturday, I have a few things to go over about rides etc. and probably a little old business and that will probably be it.  Anything new we can discuss as need be, any way the meeting will probably last hour to hour and a half.  If you want to take test then please come in time to get that all started before the meeting starts so Penny and Johnny can attend to any needed business they have.  I ordered patches this week and they may be in by meeting time don't know, if you have already paid good deal if not and you want to take test you will need to pay your district coordinator prior to testing.  This is standard procedure and has been the case for some time now.  I look forward to seeing everyone Saturday.  We will talk about it Saturday but remember the next Saturday District 1 is having big todo in Athens so we want to be sure we have a good showing for that.  Ride safe see you Saturday, Acta Non Verba!!

All ASOLR District 1 members:

District 1 monthly meeting will be on the 26th, 4th Saturday, in Athens, AL.  We will be on a mission to recruit and inform the public motorcycle community of our existence and purpose.  Please try to be in attendance.  ALL ASOLR members are invited to participate.  We will need to be set up and ready to go at 7:30 a.m.  Details of the ride over from the Shoals and getting our canopy and booth set up will come later.  FYI.

I will be sending out individual emails to all District 1 people later early next week.  Thanks for all you do!  Acta non Verba!

You have got to hear this version of the Star Spangled Banner.

I have never heard it sung this good.

God Bless America!!!

BAN KNIVES, BAN KNIVES, BAN KNIVES,  wait what is happening? I haven't heard today any of the normal call for bans of the kitchen knives that was used in the school stabbing yesterday. Amazing 20 people were seriously injured some to the point of possibly being a fatality and none of the usual calls that would have taken place had a firearm been used! There has been none of the speculation of how the teenager got the knives none of the usual controversy of were the knives obtained legally.  The silence of all these questions I believe show the absurdity of those same questions when a firearm is used in one of these terrible incidents. As has been said time and time again anything can be used as a weapon that can kill. Guns don't kill people, guns are only a tool to accomplish what someone wants to accomplish just like knives. The difference is when a firearm is used then you have those people who would rob those of us who enjoy and believe in being a gun owner from our Constitutional rights to do so. These same people could care less about the injured or dead they are just looking for a good reason to drum up an old issue. Problem is those of us who have firearms let this smaller group out talk us because we don't turn these new incidents to our advantage of the argument. Today the conversation hasn't even touched on the weapon but on the fact that there was no prior indication that the prep could do such a thing. And guess what we the armed people let them get away with it. That's our fault not theirs!!!!!!!

  3. Read the by-laws, participate in the chat, reply to articles, and learn the ropes of how the site works.
  4. If you have a question post it in the chat room.  Someone should be able to answer it for you there.  If not contact your state leader or post it as a Discussion.
  5. Have fun and get involved politically!  While we are mostly "riders" many are not and our mission is POLITICAL 1st.....

We do have shirts available.

Back Logos are only available through your State President.....they will explain...and work with new members on "how" you go about getting one.
