Certainly understand and appreciate the activity in which you will be engaged.  Thanks for letting us know.  Once the winter passes and good riding weather returns, I hope we can all get together at a mutually agreeable place.

Merry Christmas

Like Brother Shipp, I appreciate your choice to help the victims of the hurricane in eastern NC.  There will be more opportunities for us all to get together and meet you in the near future.  As NC President, I actively organize and promote rides and events so that we can all spend at least some time together even though we are separated by geography.

Stay tuned on Team App and on the website for our upcoming events.

Chris, In a way, I am sorry you were not there, But,, Your mission to the coast is an admirable expenditure of your time and we certainly understand your priorities. It sounds as though you got home safely and for that we thank you and God. We did end up with excellent weather in Murphy and those who rode home that night, and did not have too far east to go, had little trouble with weather.  Sunday after noon was a different matter.  The ride went very well and ended at The Band Of Brothers Memorial  park.  We had lunch served at the park as well as antique cars and a four piece band.   Dr Dan out did all the other rides and has added twin towers to the title. Benghazi and twin towers memorial ride.  We thank all who braved the weather forecasts and attended. We had divine intervention.  There were about sixty bikes in attendance and several others who came by other means. I am sure that if the weather reports had been better, more would have shown up.  Dick and I cheated in anticipation of bad weather on the return trip and we trailered our bikes both ways.  Dick and I also made it a point to go to Pastor Patrick Garrett's "Journey" Church for his sermon from revelations.  He has been the Ride Chaplin for the past three years and we wanted to show some appreciation.    In summary, I am very glad I was able to attend both the ride and the church.

Sorry I wasn't able to make the 6th Annual Benghazi-Twin Towers Memorial Ride. I had to go to the coast and do some storm damage work. I hope it was a good ride. Was looking forward to meeting everyone.

Our Sons of Liberty Riders Summer Fun and Fellowship Ride to the Smokin’ Pig Restaurant in Pendleton, SC, was a “yuge” success. Thanks to all our Brothers and Sisters of SoLR and ALR Posts 23 and 121 who joined together for a fantastic ride, fellowship, and great food.  Both the weather and the company were perfect.

Regardless of the organization flag under which we ride, it is important to remember that we are all Brothers and Sisters united in our patriotism and love of America. It is my goal to have more events in which we all ride together for a common cause.

We thank all of our Brothers and Sisters from Sons of Liberty Riders, Joshua’s Warriors, American Legion Riders Posts 23 and 121, and all others who rode, attended, and participated in our Flag Day Event, STAND FOR THE FLAG – KNEEL FOR GOD.

To save our Constitutional Republic, we must always honor and respect our flag as it represents the history and principles of our great nation, the faith of our founders, and the courage of those who have served, fought, and given their lives for our Freedom.

It is even more important that we teach this to our children and grandchildren, so that the tradition of patriotism remains alive in their hearts.
