Sorry I wasn't able to make the 6th Annual Benghazi-Twin Towers Memorial Ride. I had to go to the coast and do some storm damage work. I hope it was a good ride. Was looking forward to meeting everyone.

Our Sons of Liberty Riders Summer Fun and Fellowship Ride to the Smokin’ Pig Restaurant in Pendleton, SC, was a “yuge” success. Thanks to all our Brothers and Sisters of SoLR and ALR Posts 23 and 121 who joined together for a fantastic ride, fellowship, and great food.  Both the weather and the company were perfect.

Regardless of the organization flag under which we ride, it is important to remember that we are all Brothers and Sisters united in our patriotism and love of America. It is my goal to have more events in which we all ride together for a common cause.

Upcoming Events:

James and I are riding over Friday September 7, staying at the Comfort Inn in Cullman Friday and Saturday nights. It is about a 4.5 Hr ride from Murphy.  If anyone wants to join us, come over Thursday night and we can help with accommodations.  We do have room for a RV at the barn.

Papa Joe Alverson (AL-SoLR President) and 10 riders joined us for the Stand for the Flag/Kneel for God Ride in June, and I would like to repay their support.

We thank all of our Brothers and Sisters from Sons of Liberty Riders, Joshua’s Warriors, American Legion Riders Posts 23 and 121, and all others who rode, attended, and participated in our Flag Day Event, STAND FOR THE FLAG – KNEEL FOR GOD.

To save our Constitutional Republic, we must always honor and respect our flag as it represents the history and principles of our great nation, the faith of our founders, and the courage of those who have served, fought, and given their lives for our Freedom.

It is even more important that we teach this to our children and grandchildren, so that the tradition of patriotism remains alive in their hearts.

A little more information about the range:

TASK is a non-profit organization. Its range is located ten miles south of Thomasville on Fuller Mill Road, about two miles north of Highway 64.

There are four covered firing lanes but the maximum range at this time is only about 75 yards. Plans are in place to extend one firing lane to at least 100 yards in the spring. (That would be now as this was written in January)

As far as I am aware, the Triad Action Shooting Klub's range is the only range in central NC that permits Title Two firearms.

The annual dues are $100 plus a $100 initiation fee. For further information either write TASK at PO Box 404, Trinity, NC 27370 or email me at  Written by Captain Monty, member NC Gun Owners.

Disgusting.   P'sOS!    Here is the link.

TASK is the short name for Triad Action Shooters Klub,  a non profit organization dedicated to teaching Gun Safety.

Freedom-hating gun-grabbers recently destroyed the shooting tables and shelter at the Triad Action Shooters Klub in Randolph County, NC.  They've created a "gofundme" page (Rebuild TASK) in an attempt to raise $3000 to rebuild.  If you have a few bucks to share, you might consider throwing some their way. You can remain anonymous. I just sent them $25. It will add up quickly if NC gun owners rise to the challenge.

Hate comes in many forms, and unfortunately, we can't always face it head on, but we can let other gun owners know they are not alone. Given the vitriol the Left and the sycophant media are expressing toward gun owners these days, that's important.

Perhaps somewhat exaggerated in this case, but as Benjamin Franklin said, "We should all hang together, or we shall surely hang separately."
