Great choice for a tri-state ride today.  It was great to be together with y'all - even with the hot engines.  Next year, we need to be in front of the parade.

It would be great if we could plan a tri-state fun ride the third weekend in August.  I am obligated the first two weekends (Christian Ophthalmology Society meeting at Lake Junaluska and my son's graduation from Marine OCS).  Maybe we could meet up in the Clemson area the weekend of August 19 and/or 20.

Sounds like a great time.

To bad I'm working the 4th.

Life by the recreation business and die by the same.

Everyone be safe.

James and I are riding up for the event.  We are leaving my office in Murphy at 0730 hrs.  I just found out that we will be joined Anthony St. George, new member recruited by DME.  I have also invited ALR Post 23 riders to join us if they want.  No feed back yet.

So we are definitely three from our end of NC as of today.

Independence Day Ride is ON (Tues, July 4th):  Theme EAGLE SOARS.  See the SC page for ride details.  Those of us in the Columbus area will meet at the Shell Sta (at the roundabout) at 7:30 We'll ride up to Exit 49A off I-26 (Waffle House) and hook up with SC riders.  KSU from there at 08:15.  ETA in Lake Junalaska at approx. 0900 where we'll meet up with other NC riders.  If you plan to go, just comment back here so we can get a bike count.

James and I will leave Murphy at 0730 hrs to guarantee arrival at Lake Junaluska before 0930 hrs.  We can set up a rally point for the entire SoLR group.  I need a bike count for that.  Who else is going from NC SoLR?

I got confirmation from the Lake Junaluska Parade coordinator that we are Registered to ride in the Independence Parade on Tuesday, July 4! So this is now an official Ride!

Blu and Mc-Doc

Count me in.  Love the "Eagle Soars" concept, too.
