It is great to have you as a member of Ohio SOLR, Paul!  Roger told me that you stopped by the Sons of Liberty Riders Tent at the BSA Rally this weekend in Toronto.  Sorry I miss you!  Hope you are able to come to our State Fall Meeting on September 19th in Jefferson County.  We would love to have you there!

Remember what we're celebrating this weekend:


"When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation..."


"...Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed...."


The question today is, as it was then, when do the evils become insufferable?

The Monthly Conference call has been rescheduled for tonight Tuesday, June 30th at 7pm.  Thanks to those that called in last night, but I was out of a phone service area until 7:30pm.  I hope to talk to you tonight!  I attend the Ohio Precinct Project training over the weekend and we will be discussing it.

Full Throttle for Ava/ OH State Campout Update

Ride is rescheduled for July 11 12pm-4pm. Dinner location is moving to the Dunkirk community building across from the library
150 N Main St, Dunkirk, OH 45836. We will be holding the meeting at my house 2964 township road 165 Dunkirk, Oh 45836 at 1:00pm and proceed to the community building once finished. Due to recent flooding and weather conditions we will be canceling the camp out.

Leukemia has struck this 3 year old beautiful angel Ava Cervantes daughter of Staci Marshall and granddaughter of Teri Marshall of Dunkirk. Now we in the local community need to strike back. This is a benefit ride to help offset medical expenses for the family. There will be food, and door prizes after the benefit ride. We are asking for a $20 donation per rider that will include a meal or $10 per for meal only. BBQ pork with 2 sides provided by locally owned and operated Pig Eaters BBQ. The ride will start at the Memorial Park Golf Course 15906 State Route 309 Kenton, Ohio 43326 and end at 2964 Township Road 165 Dunkirk, Ohio 45836. Food will be available for pickup between 4:00pm - 6:00pm at the Dunkirk address listed above. Come make a difference. Registration: 10 am. KSU: 12pm

Ohio Ride to Ohio Memorial Wall - July 25, 2015 - see events page for details and flyer. 


NOTE:  All SOLR members (and other friends)  can stay overnight (Fri/Sat)  at my house (bring sleeping bag, air mattress, and/or tent).  I'm about 30 min. from ride start point-concrete drive, no hills, lots of parking)   Call me (330-562-4905) to let me know and I'll get you directions to my house.


New Members please read

If you are NEW to SOLR:

  1. Join your state page,scroll down. Click on the name of your state and "JOIN".
  2. Contact the State President or leader.  NOT ALL STATES HAVE ONE.  If you are in a state that doesn't have leadership, get involved and try and reach out to the other members on the page.  Find another person who can help you get something going....then get involved.
  3. Read the by-laws, participate in the chat, reply to articles, and learn the ropes of how the site works.
  4. If you have a question post it in the chat room.  Someone should be able to answer it for you there.  If not contact your state leader or post it as a Discussion.
  5. Have fun and get involved politically!  While we are mostly "riders" many are not and our mission is POLITICAL 1st.....

We do have shirts available.

Back Logos are only available through your State President.....they will explain...and work with new members on "how" you go about getting one.
