Wash, Rinse and Repeat.

The Dates for the 2018 Rolling Thunder trip are Friday, May 25th to Monday, May 28th.

For the past 3 years, we've ridden US-50 into Herndon and I'd like to take it again.

For the past 3 years, we've met up in Grafton, WV and taken US-50 to Herndon, VA.  KSU from Grafton will be 1PM EDT.  Last year we met at the Gourmet Express 1216 W Main St, Grafton, WV 26354 (picture) and everyone was satisfied.

BTW, the green paint has worn off the gravel you see in the picture, so watch your footing.

The planned fuel stop will be at the Sheetz, 136 E. Main St., Romney WV.

The address for the Comfort Inn is 200 Elden St., Herndon VA.

** If there is heavy rain, we will go North from Grafton to Morgantown, and slab it to Herndon.

Given the current state of affairs, maybe a visit to the NRA National Firearms Museum would be a good choice for a visit on Saturday!

Return Trip - The Route on the way back will be US-7 to VA-15, where we pick up I-70W.  About 100 miles out, and just before everyone spilts up, we'll stop for breakfast at the Hancock Truck Plaza (434 E Main St, Hancock, MD 21750).

If you have an iPhone or Android smart phone, I suggest that you install the WAZE application. https://www.waze.com/  This application will allow us to track each others location throughout the weekend.  This has worked pretty well at several events and has been the only reliable way to track down Yoda...

Let me know what your thoughts are.
