Yes, SC is definitely planning on both events: 9/11 Ride and 9/17-23. Don't forget 7/4 for a flag-flying ride too.

Tri-corn helmets... probably not. Otherwise, I do have some garb to wear... shirt with fluffy sleeves, vest, pants trimmed at the knees. Don't worry, long johns hide the knobby knees!

Here are some sites with clothing:

Also, check the guns laws in NC about long guns. Carrying a replica of a black powder long gun definitely draws attention. In SC, a long gun can be carried about with virtually no restrictions other than prohibited in government buildings/schools.

I am not sure if we can get Tri-Cornered DOT helmets, but riding in a Continental Army jacket would look good.

Spoke with Ken Carrico of the NC Pastors Network tonight.  He will be talking with the American Pastors Network this week about partnering with us on the Constitution Week BRR program.  They are heavily committed to the "Activist Preacher" concept and the BRR program fits well with their agenda.

Always glad to partner with our SC Brothers and Sisters.  We look forward to being together in September for our two events:  BRR for Constitution Week and our combined Benghazi and 9-11 Twin Towers Memorial ride (multiple veteran groups joining with us).

We'll definitely team up on Constitution Week events. We've committed to bringing the program to NC during the week of Sep 18-22, but haven't nailed down the specific location and audiences yet. Dan Eichenbaum is coordinating for Cherokee / Swain counties (Thur and Fri) and Jane Bilello and I are working on presentations for Mon and Tue in our area (Henderon / Polk / Rutherford) counties. We'll take whatever help we can get. We'll post this up as an event once we're further along. Period attire would be great. Who has some?

NC SOLR, SC SOLR is in: Asheville Tea Party and the Sons of Liberty Riders are partnering with Dr. Dan's Freedom Forum  to bring the Black Robed Regiment to Western North Carolina during Constitution Week, September 17th - 23rd , 2017.

Is NC SOLR going to post this as an event?

Also, we need to advertise Constitution Week. Rides in period attire and flying flags are appropriate. Let's meet & plan.

I have two more Q's to add to my list:

What does he think of the Export Bank?

How does he think major company CEO's, like Jeff Imelt of GE, think of the President's 'America First' economic plans?

Comment by Mac "Mc-Doc" McKinney on May 5, 2017 at 8:54am

Do you think this would be an appropriate question for the Congressman being that he serves on the Armed Services committee? You know my personal experience with the  Greenville V.A. Dental (Them telling me to "Consider the longevity of my parents before deciding on the type of treatment I choose").  I know that our President has been involved with getting Veterans better access to healthcare. SO, my question for the Congressman would be, On this issue, is there any consideration in Congress with allowing military retirees and veterans with an I.D. card to just opt out of V.A. medical and choose their place of treatment and have the Government pick up the tab?
