Jihadist and Dividers

We all have heard about jihadist, they are Muslims who want to kill us Westerners. Well, I want to warn you about someone that is just as dangerous to Americans as is a jihadist — a Divider. That’s an American who wants to divide Americans against Americans.

Recently I joined the American Motorcycle Association (AMA), thinking that was a good thing to do. But after reading the first issues I received of their monthly magazine (August 2017 edition), I’m no so sure my money was well spent.

AMA’s president and CEO, Rob Dingman, published an article in that issue titled “The Beef Goes On,” in which he rails against US Congress because they slapped a tariff on motorcycle imports in response to other nations not buying American beef as those other countries had promised to do.

In short, some other nations had contracted to buy American beef, but failed to live up to that contract. So our congress looked at the industry that would have the biggest impact on those countries, motorcycles, and slapped an import tariff on them.

Then, Rob Dingman ended his article with, “I don’t know about you, but until this issue is resolved, I plan to eat more chicken.” Rob Dingman is dividing American bikers from American ranchers. He is a divider. He is making war on Americans.

Sons of Liberty Riders is different from any other group of motorcycle riders. We are, as our name implies, American Patriots. Other groups, such as AMA and ABATE, turn a blind eye to America, and only support activities specific to the cause of motorcycling. Sons of Liberty Riders love motorcycles, but before any of us ever rode a motorcycle, we were Americans.

I don’t know about you, but until this issue is resolved, I plan to drop my membership in the AMA.

Mc-Doc.  Can't tell you how grateful I am that you and G are OK.  God and several angels were most assuredly riding with you.

I typed out a whole event suggesting we do an over night trip to ride the tail of the dragon and tried to post it under events. Now can't find where it saved to if it did indeed save. So not knowing where to post, I am posting it on NC and SC pages. I have been informed that my wife has not had the "opportunity" to ride the tail of the dragon with me. So I we will be planning a trip some time after Constitution Week. I am proposing that SOLR join us some where near the Dragon and stay over night. There are  several campgrounds that also  have rental cabins. My intention is for this to be during the week. I apologize for all those who have to work during the week and can't get time off. One of the places I found is near Deals Gap and has the cheapest rates. I know nothing about it. Brookside

There is also a camp ground that has mini cabins for only $25 a night, which is less than most camp site fees

Here is a list of other campgrounds near the Tail of the Dragon if some one has suggestions.

If any one has a specific date that works for them, we will make every  effort to use those dates.  At this point the calendar is open for suggestions.  Also, any suggestions on the best place to stay is appreciated, but I will be staying in a fifth wheel camper for at least two nights. Also Cade's Cove is not far and might be considered for an extended stay. Say , more than two nights. The Townsend camp grounds might be better choices in that case.  some additional info.

They are and will be in my prayers.  Could have been worse.  God was there for them.

Very sorry to announce that McDoc and G had a tire blowout this morning at about 50mph, sending G to ER and Mac with road rash. Bike looks pretty bad... maybe totaled.

Last I heard was at 4pm they were leaving ER on the way home. Are sore, but otherwise ok.

Keep them in prayers.

Same here... esp. McCain. I'm betting on Trump to triumph - and praying for it.

Why am I not surprised?

Senate GOPers who refused to support clean repeal:
Alexander, Capito, Collins, Heller, McCain, Murkowski, & Portman.

Your headcount is correct.  Seven did not vote for straight repeal.  I don't have a list of the names, but we need to make sure that they pay in their primaries when they are up for re-election.
