Our Sons of Liberty Riders Summer Fun and Fellowship Ride to the Smokin’ Pig Restaurant in Pendleton, SC, was a “yuge” success. Thanks to all our Brothers and Sisters of SoLR and ALR Posts 23 and 121 who joined together for a fantastic ride, fellowship, and great food.  Both the weather and the company were perfect.

Regardless of the organization flag under which we ride, it is important to remember that we are all Brothers and Sisters united in our patriotism and love of America. It is my goal to have more events in which we all ride together for a common cause.

Upcoming Events:

Papa Joe Alverson (AL-SoLR President) and 10 riders joined us for the Stand for the Flag/Kneel for God Ride in June, and I would like to repay their support.

FDA Seeks Power to Ban Homeopathic Remedies

We speak of freedom, but what does that mean? What "freedoms" do you care about? To ride your motorcycle without being harassed by law? To consume raw milk (natures milk), the freedom to treat your own ailments using grandma's remedies?

Don't sit by and let any of these be taken away. That's why we have lost so much American Liberty. One little piece at a time.

The FDA is one of the most tyrannical elements in our government. Currently it is proposing new guidelines to regulate homeopathic remedies. These new guidelines will ban some of gramma's remedies. Why? Because these are taking $$$ away from big Pharma.

The FDA is populated by the same people that are silent about soft drinks and candy bars even in our schools, but they have worked furiously to ban raw milk - and they have succeeded in many states. Why? Because it takes $$$ away from Big Food.

You can do something about this, even if it is just one little battle. But you'll have to read a little, and write your own letter to your US Congressman & Representative.

Ammunition can be found here.

Happy July Freedom Fighters. I look forward to our lunch on the 28th.

We thank all of our Brothers and Sisters from Sons of Liberty Riders, Joshua’s Warriors, American Legion Riders Posts 23 and 121, and all others who rode, attended, and participated in our Flag Day Event, STAND FOR THE FLAG – KNEEL FOR GOD.

To save our Constitutional Republic, we must always honor and respect our flag as it represents the history and principles of our great nation, the faith of our founders, and the courage of those who have served, fought, and given their lives for our Freedom.

It is even more important that we teach this to our children and grandchildren, so that the tradition of patriotism remains alive in their hearts.

Dr. Dan

2018 Honoring Their Service Motorcycle Escort

Monday, June 11th -- welcome our US Marines – Special Operations Command (MARSOC) …also known as the Marine Raider Regiment based out of Camp Lejuene. All of them have been deployed at least once and others multiple times to locations we seldom hear about. These Marines are serving in 22 of the 24 times zones around the world …just think about that for a moment.

As a recap, we have shorten the route considerably from past years, staging will be at Southern Wesleyan University campus starting at 11:30 AM, the Marines will arrive at approximately 1:00 PM with the police escort leading us out at 1:30 PM. Upon arriving members of the Marine Corps League will direct you to the staging area on campus and others in day glow green/yellow vests will line you up. Any bikes with large flags (USA, Marine, POW/MIA, etc.) will lead the escort.

While awaiting the arrival of the Marines, there will be music, beverage and food vendors, tables & chairs, shaded areas, canopies, etc., bottled water will be provided. When the Marines arrive they will march in formation into the staging area for a personal meet & greet. For those of you who have participated in previous Honoring Their Service escorts remember how deeply you felt to have the opportunity to say “Thank You” …Face-to-Face and Heart-to-Heart. Let us honor them again for the sacrifices they make on our behalf day in and day out.

Just before leaving we will have a few announcements, short invocation, Pledge of Allegiance and singing of the National Anthem. The SC highway patrol will lead followed by patriotically decorated bikers and jeeps with local law enforcement vehicles interspersed and the remaining bikes to follow. Let’s provide the THUNDER that is expected along the route.

We continue to thank you for your support and the personal impact you make representing the upstate and honoring these men and women who give back so much to our country.
