2019 Honoring Their Service Motorcycle Escort

The price of FREEDOM has always been through the blood of the warrior and too many times their lives. They understand God, country, duty and honor so now is the time for us to honor them ever so briefly, in just two weeks from to day, Monday, June 17th 11:30 am at Southern Wesleyan University. It is not often that an opportunity comes along to personally acknowledge their presence and thank them for all of the freedoms that we take for granted as Americans.

We look forward to seeing all of you and with as many as possible wearing various patriotic and/or armed forces shirts/hats and your bikes adorned with USA or Marine Corp flags. Other branches of the military flags are encouraged as well as POW/MIA. Based upon previous emails you know the program and what to expect at staging, but I’ve attached it once again just in case! We are privileged to have these Special Operations Command Marines, Upstate Warriors, and their spouses in our area since this is the only Honoring Their Service event of this type in the United States.

Plan on coming early and enjoy a nice lunch from the concessions on site:

Blue Hill – Hamburgers, Dogs, BBQ, assorted chips, and Gramma’s cookies.

Pioneer – Iced tea/coffee, Italians sodas, flavored lemonades & sodas.

There will be canopies set up and trees for shade with tables and chairs along with a few yard games to occupy your time until arrival of the MARSOC Marines aka “The Raiders”, our Upstate Warriors, and their spouses.

Thank you for your continued support and the personal impact you make creating a “shock and awe” site for the Marines and Upstate Warriors upon their arrival when they take in all of the bikes, jeeps and people.

Honoring Their Service

Motorcycle Escort

Please mark your calendars and reserve the afternoon of Monday, June 17th, 2019 for welcoming our US Marines Special Operations Command (MARSOC), Wounded Warriors, and their spouses from Camp Lejuene and upstate area. We invite you and your friends to join us with this motorcycle escort with law enforcement agencies leading the way. An important and critical aspect of the success has been the enormous support from motorcyclists throughout the area.

We will be assembling and staging at Southern Wesleyan University located in Central, SC, beginning at 11:30 AM and leaving at approximately 1:35 PM for Keowee Key and Duke Power. We anticipate the Marines arriving at 1:00 PM. There will be complimentary water bottles, concession stands, music, tables, chairs, etc., at the staging area. We will be sending out a flyer with more detailed information in the next few weeks.

In the past we have had hundreds of motorcycles and the Marines and the Wounded Warriors have always commented about the warm welcome given them …so in continuing with that tradition, let’s give them the patriotic welcome they deserve and let them hear the THUNDER of our bikes along the entire route. At the conclusion of the escort, there will be an appreciation cookout at The Lighthouse restaurant (outside at the Cabana) for those participating in the entire escort.

We thank you for your support and the personal impact you make on this special event honoring the men and women who give so much so we can enjoy this great country of ours.

I agree Mac. I have been following them as well. I also like Sonsoflibertymedia which often quotes One America news , as well as others.
