Judge Napolitano--The Patriot Act

t's been a well known fact, DHS has been militarizing local police officers with weapons used for war. In fact, local police officers are starting to resemble military members as they train in our communities, and we already know our backyards are now the battlefield according to Congress. They have given up their responsibility to declare war on true enemies while declaring our private property, neighborhoods, and communities the battlefield. Now DHS is really overflexing their muscle.

They are removing law enforcement officers who aren't swallowing the DHS Kool-Aid.

It has gotten MUCH MUCH worse in the last few days and weeks guys!!

Have we as a nation lost our minds?? This is TREASON every member of the US House and Senate who voted for this Bill with this indefinite Detention provision has now become the enemy of the People!
Where is the media?? Where is the outcry??
Those who refuse to learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them.
First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.
I say NO!!!

Patriot Act now being used outside of Terrorism, for investigation........We see exactly where this is going

Patriot Act aided feds in probe

Federal officials used the Patriot Act to get financial records for current and former politicians as part of the ongoing political corruption probe involving strip club owner Michael Galardi's influence, sources said.

Among those whose records were accessed were Clark County Commission Chairwoman Mary Kincaid-Chauncey, former commissioners Dario Herrera, Erin Kenny and Lance Malone, Las Vegas City Councilman Michael Mack and former Councilman Michael McDonald, sources said.

It wasn't clear what the documents were but sources said the documents were related to the political corruption probe and Galardi's attempts to sway several politicians. All but Mack have been identified as potential targets or subjects of the investigation.

FBI spokesman Jim Stern confirmed Monday that the U.S. Patriot Act was used to obtain financial information in the political corruption investigation

The problem with the Patriot Act is the PC (political correctness) inflicted on our Law enforcement and Military by the Federal Government i.e. Homeland Security.

The Constitution and a few of the laws on the books can handle any instance of security breach that arises; For example, ‘Profiling’ is a necessary evil that works, but profile the known terrorist groups.

  • Profile the religious groups that are known to produce Radical Extremist Terrorists that actually cause death and destruction throughout the world.
  • Profile the ecology groups that are known to terrorize or cause damage to those who disagree with them.
  • Profile the various entities that are known to actively advocate the overthrow of the United States Government i.e. Communists, Socialists, Anarchists, etc.

By Identifying and ‘Profiling’ these Organizations, Groups and/or Individuals our enforcement personnel would be able to accomplish the job of Security with fewer infringements on our Constitutional Rights using existing laws.

Hence the ‘Patriot Act’ would no longer be needed and American Patriots would not need to be targeted without reason.
