Yes, I was there - rode the bus, though - will need warmer weather before I ride that distance. Four buses left from Centerville (south of Dayton) at 11 PM Wed evening - we arrived at the Capitol at around 10:30 AM. After a few hours of waving placards and harassing Congressmen we left Union Station at about 6 PM Thurs and arrived back a bit shy of 5 AM Friday. Well worth the trip!
Hey Ken, Did ypou guys make it to DC in time for the event. It was very impressive. Kirby-man and I were traveling together. We only had about a two and a half hr. ride. Hope to catch you on the next one. Joe

This is Lou, we left out of Dayton to.Where you on one of the buses out of that church? we where on #304. It was great being there, we were interveiwed by ABC news when we got off the bus, they only played one little comment I made but I was wearing my SOL shirt!!!

Contact the State President or leader. NOT ALL STATES HAVE ONE. If you are in a state that doesn't have leadership, get involved and try and reach out to the other members on the page. Find another person who can help you get something going....then get involved.
Read the by-laws, participate in the chat, reply to articles, and learn the ropes of how the site works.
