I agree completely on all points and I'm glad the rally will be executed in a disciplined manner. That kind of military bearing will stand in total contrast to the way other groups conduct themselves. It will also go a long way toward attracting the younger generation --whom I suspect are becoming tired of the whining kind of "hippy-dippy" protests of the last few years. I'm just theorizing here; but I believe that a silent and calm display of unity projects strength, and that will make a memorable impression on everyone regardless of political affiliation.
I just put this event up. So do not have any RSVP's yet. Do you want to suggest a place and time to meet up? I suggested in the description that riders meet up at the corner of Broadway and N. Harbor St. at 3PM, but I can change that if it is not the best idea.
The protest starts at 3PM, but the crowd may not max out until some time later. I will have to be at NBC studios on foot. If someone wants to take the lead organizing the riders, would be good.
Join your state page,scroll down. Click on the name of your state and "JOIN".
Contact the State President or leader. NOT ALL STATES HAVE ONE. If you are in a state that doesn't have leadership, get involved and try and reach out to the other members on the page. Find another person who can help you get something going....then get involved.
Read the by-laws, participate in the chat, reply to articles, and learn the ropes of how the site works.
If you have a question post it in the chat room. Someone should be able to answer it for you there. If not contact your state leader or post it as a Discussion.
